A series of variant covers across most of Marvel's major series published in August 2019 (with cover dates of October 2019) with the same frame of small Marvel characters drawn around the edge of the front cover to celebrate their 80th anniversary. These variants were offered to retailers out of the regular ordering cycle with a meet-or-exceed ordering qualification based on the current order level of the regular cover and the ordering level of a previous issue of the series. This collection of variants was an homage to the previously published 25th Anniversary Frame covers from 1986 (and the similar series of 2009 variants); however, the 80th year now refers back to the original establishment of Timely Comics in 1939.
