Marvel Index Series are a series of comic book series which index specific Marvel comic books. Issues contain detailed synopses in text, creator credits, character appearances and a reduced cover image. The effort was largely compiled by George Olshevsky, who at one time was the sole owner of every Marvel comic published since 1939's MARVEL COMICS [1939] #1.
