Description

JAWAS OF DOOM. First post-ROTJ issue. Appearance of Boba Fett. Han's search for cash brings him, Leia and R2-D2 to Tatooine, where they encounter an out-from-the-sarlacc Boba Fett. Boba Fett awoke on the sands of Tatooine, spewed from the mouth of the Sarlacc, with no memory. Jawas picked him up, thinking he was a droid, and also stole R2-D2 during this latest visit. Han convinces the amnesiac Fett to help him rescue R2-D2. At the last minute, Fett's memory is jogged, and he turns on Han. The sandcrawler, with Fett inside, ironically falls into the Great Pit of Carkoon.
