AGE OF BRONZE is a series of comic book series and specials from writer/artist Eric Shanower begun in 1998 with Image comics. The series retells the legend of the Trojan War with particular attention to historic research and literary traditions. For his work on AGE OF BRONZE, Shanower won the Eisner Award for best writer/artist in 2001 and 2003. The trade paperbacks began to be reissued in color in 2018. The entire tale could be seven volumes if completed.
