A series of 10 reprints of classic DC Silver Age books containing some of the most important introductions of the era. Some of the iconic Silver Age first appearances include: Justice League of America, Legion of Super-Heroes, Flash (Barry Allen), Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Supergirl, J'Onn J'Onzz, and the Swamp Thing. Also included is the first 'new look' Batman and the first team-up between Green Arrow and Green Lantern, introducing 'relevance' to comic books. These reprints were produced to mark the end of DC's 37-year period of printing with World Color Press of Sparta, IL, as the industry was moving away from letterpress printing to offset printing.
