FLASHPOINT was a 2011 crossover event storyline consisting of a core mini-series of the same name and multiple tie-ins. In this important DC storyline, only the Flash (Barry Allen) seems to be aware of significant changes in the timeline. In his quest to recruit help in the altered timeline from familiar, yet different, heroes, a timeline tampering conspiracy is uncovered which, when rectified, would lead to DC's publishing-wide relaunch called the NEW 52 with an all-new status quo for the entire DC Universe proper.
