MYTHOS was a series of six one-shots from Marvel in the 2006-2008 timeframe by writer Paul Jenkins retelling the origins of prominent characters/teams to bridge the gap between comic books and a (then) recent crop of movies for fans who may not have been exposed to comic books much before the movies.
