Description
THE MIND SPIDER. A holographic recording of Darth Vader informs Luke that Shira Brie was an Imperial spy. Elsewhere, Vader, displeased with General Mils Giel's recent failure, does not kill him, but demotes him to lieutenant. Luke and Chewbacca infiltrate the Krake Data Vault, a facility built from the mass of a giant Mind Spider, to verify that Shira was indeed a spy. She was hand-selected by Darth Vader to fill the role of an Emperor's Hand. Meanwhile, deep in the bowels of the Executor, Darth Vader attends a bacta tank containing the barely-alive body of Shira Brie.
