The AGE OF X-MAN is an alternate future Marvel Universe in which the X-Men succeeded in creating a perfect utopia for mutantkind and where living in fear and hatred are a thing of the past. Mutankind indolizes the X-Men: Jean Grey, Colossus, Storm, X-23, X-Man, Nature Girl, Magneto, and the incomparable celebrity superstar, Nightcrawler. The Summers Institute for Higher Learning is the premiere school for the mutant community across the globe with young students such as: Glob, Armor, Anole and Rockslide. And the group of X-Tremists: Psylocke, Iceman, Northstar, Blob, Jubilee and Moneta, protect people from threats they didn't even know existed. The AGE OF X-MAN was introduced in 2019 with an ALPHA one-shot and followed by four 5-issue mini-series: AGE OF X-MAN: THE MARVELOUS X-MEN [2019], AGE OF X-MAN: NEXTGEN [2019], AGE OF X-MAN: THE AMAZING NIGHTCRAWLER [2019], and AGE OF X-MAN: THE X-TREMISTS [2019]. The AGE OF X-MAN: OMEGA one-shot bookended the other end of this event. This publication configuration echoes the now classic AGE OF APOCALYPSE event from 1995 (except those titles replaced the ongoing ones at the time).
