If you hadn’t noticed, DC took a weird spin on the line of Hanna-Barbera cartoon properties that they recently introduced. Now, DC is introducing a line of books tagged DC’s Young Animal (DCYA), and it’s equally difficult to describe. There’s not a whole lot of information, but it appears they’re extracting some of the oddballs from the DC Universe and “zapping them with invigorating life.” These comics are a “place for wild ideas” and “an alternative to what is largely happening in mainstream comics and the media.” First up is DOOM PATROL #1.
