Here’s another great new offering from Heavy Metal…an Iron Maiden mini-series. I don’t know why there hasn’t been comics based off the artwork of their albums before now. Another crazy reimagining of classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons in the DC Hanna-Barbera Universe! A true classic. With classic artwork. I’ll admit I had to google whether the plural of ‘dwarf’ was ‘dwarfs’ or ‘dwarves.’ The classic spelling seems to be ‘dwarfs,’ while Tolkein has made ‘dwarves’ more popular, and it may be overtaking ‘dwarfs’ in modern English. Still a great movie. Snow White, I mean. Another very cool digest of Marvel comics from Archie. They’re advertising that they won’t reprint these things too, so they’ll be hard to find and more collectible in the long run.
