If you’re enjoying the television series, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., you’ll probably like this new series…Secret Warriors…starring Daisy Johnson, aka Quake. The Daisy Johnson comic book character predates the television character by nearly a decade. In fact, the first season television character had very few similarities with the comic book character, and few would have guessed at the time they were the same character. But as more details were uncovered about the television character, several aspects of her history began to converge with the comic book character. The likeness was not perfect, but there was significant overlap. Now, aspects of the comic book character have been converging with the television character, including a redesign so she looks more like Chloe Bennet, the actress that plays the television character. In this new series, Quake teams up to protect Inhumans from Hydra in the wake of Captain America’s traitorous status. It will be interesting to see what further developments occur with Quake…or Daisy Johnson, aka Skye or…Cory Sutter or Gabrielle Wewer…whatever.
