Diamond put up the first two images (finally) of a new Star Wars variant cover collection–the McKone Puzzle Piece variants. There will be 27 of these, and since there are three “ages” and the first Age of Republic has 9 one-shots, I’m guessing they will be arranged in three 3 x 3 grids. But this is just speculation until we see a few more. I was initially thinking they would have some sort of puzzle piece shape or design to them, but these designs are much better than what I imagined. You can see there is some huge background symbol in red. But the coolest part is all the ships zooming around. Can’t wait to see them all put together!
