WELCOME

Hello, comic fans! The comic industry is still going strong with tons of new, great-looking stuff for eager fans like us. You can always check out the brand new series on our Brand New Series page. Captain Marvel will be out before our next newsletter, and I’m really excited about this latest chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). If you didn’t catch it, Peter David had an awesome reply to Bill Maher’s insults to comic fans. I really appreciate PD’s view of comic characters as modern-day myths-in-the-making. And finally, super mad props go out to DC for including nearly every one of their variant covers in the latest pre-order catalog. Cover art is a large part of the appeal of collecting comics, and in this direct market age so many publishers expect us (both retailers and consumers) to pre-order comics without even seeing the cover. Marvel needs to step up their cover-revealing game! As always, let us know if there is something we can track down for you…we try to cater to regular, normal newbies…crazy, intense collectors…and everyone in between (except for Bill Maher, because we reserve the right to refuse service to stagy entertainment disguised as legitimate news). –Glenn

Star Wars: Galaxys Edge #1
This looks pretty cool. Definitely worth checking out for any Star Wars fan.

Symbiote Spider-Man #1
What a cool concept! A Peter David/Greg Land Spider-Man tale from the ‘black costume’ days before we knew the symbiote was the nefarious ‘Venom.’ And Mysterio is the main baddie! This will be epic.
